Not that it matters, or that she will even read it, but this is my response to Nancy Graces ridiculous coverage of the Stewart/Ward incident: I am disappointed by your coverage of the events of the death of Kevin Ward. I usually dont get involved in these things, but this time, youre just wrong. You are entitled to your opinion, of course, but you are dead wrong. The blame keeps being placed on Tony Stewart. Theyre shouldnt be any blame, because it was a tragic accident, of which neither party wanted to happen what happened. If Kevin had not got out of his car, his death wouldnt have happened. If Tony had seen him on the track, his death wouldnt have happened. If there is blame to be placed, which I dont like to do in a pure accident, it is to Kevin who willingly got out of his car and approached Tony ON THE TRACK. Tony didnt see him, and that is not a willful move. I have always liked you and your show, but your treatment of this incident makes me doubt your willingness to investigate. It seems as if you are jumping on a bandwagon in which you know nothing about. Perhaps you should watch Erin Evernhams explanation of the way a sprint car works. Sprint cars are not like regular cars in how they act when turning or accelerating. Please do research before you report something as fact. The media reports say that Tony Stewart ran over and killed another driver. The story should read that a driver ran on the track in front of Stewarts car and was killed. I dont even particularly like Tony Stewart, but i do know he is one of the most generous drivers in the garage. He does so much good with his money. He loves to race anything, any kind of car. He is supportive of young drivers. He would have never hit another opponent on purpose. It is reported that he is a Hothead. I suppose to some extent, that is true. He occasionally will move over another driver on the track ( in his car, of course, which is a common thing in all forms of racing) , throw a helmet or yell at another driver, but to say that he ran over this driver in anger is just not true. He has too much respect for racing and other drivers to do such a thing. This is a tragic incident in which many lives are changed forever. Please do some good faith research and re-tell this story. Correctly....
