Not that my opinion means anything, but the police I have come across in my life have been professional, helpful, and courteous. Our home was robbed a few months ago and the police response was outstanding. The few times Ive been stopped for a traffic infraction, they were professional in demeanor. But every part of society and every occupation has their rogues. In the most recent cases, perhaps a couple rogues got away with something. When prosecutors have to work so closely with police everyday, is it possible to for them to be truly impartial in a circumstance like MO or Staten Island. I hope so but who knows. As for FL and other Stand Your Ground states, when a man picks a fight with an unarmed man and then shoots the unarmed man when he realizes hes going to lose the fight he started, well...
