Not to get all righteous, but it really irritates me when people do the following: ~They quote popular Bible verses, but dont know the meaning, and dont know any others. ~They repeatedly throw around the same verses to give the impression they know the Bible. ~They say a popular verse is their favorite, but again dont know the meaning, cant recite any others, or dont really know why its their favorite. Quote them, know them, love them because you mean them, because they truly apply to your life. Even if they sound kinda strange coming out of your mouth, or dont make a lot of sense without doing a little more reading, they MEAN so much more when the meaning of the words is genuinely applied to your life, your situation, your heart. And remember that sometimes, quoting those little known verses to someone in need of The Word can pack so much more punch because it gets people thinking, and curious, and reading and learning!
