Not to sound too intrusive as I am referring to my own clique, but is it just me or has EVERYONE in the goth scene boinked each other? Its really tiring and unappealing to go to a club, meet a girl, then discover that you personally know all 250 of her ex friends with benefits, all of their friends with benefits, and so on and so forth all the while 6 or 7 of her ex boyfriends are intently staring you down as you have a platonic, friendly conversation with her. Its very bizarre to me that its an every day, normal occurrence in this scene. I feel like dating within this scene is hauntingly similar to Scott Pilgrim vs the World in so many ways. I mean, ive mentioned friends in different states and even different countries to people while receiving the response oh, yeah! I screwed him! I admire the dont ask, dont tell basis and really dont enjoy retaining the knowledge of everyones personal affairs, but people like making things known to the point where I feel like im the guy who tucked tail and ran away from a floppy fourths orgy every time I want to go and just dance and have fun. Am I the only one who notices? It cant possibly be the case. Maybe im just batshit cray cray and making all of this up to divert attention towards me.
