Not too long ago, when discussing the fact that multiplied - TopicsExpress

Not too long ago, when discussing the fact that multiplied millions have passed out of this world never having heard the gospel, an interesting confession was made by an acquaintance of mine. First , keep in mind that our means of instant handheld communications has only been around (and affordable for everyone) for less than 30 years. Before the advent of the telegraph, telephone, radio and television, communications had to be made the good old fashioned way. Face to face. No one with any sense will proclaim that the entire world has ever been reached, even with todays methods. That being said, The person I was conversing with acknowledged that multitudes are passing out of this world never having heard the gospel. He then stated those those individuals who did not have a chance were saved by special provisions of grace. Then I said, let me get this straight. If they never hear the gospel they are saved by Gods special provision of grace? He said yes. My response to him was, if he really believed that they were saved having never heard the gospel they would be better off trying to not reach any one. Why he asked? I said because you say they are saved if they never hear the gospel, and you ( according to your system) are placing their eternal destiny in jeopardy by trying to preach the gospel to them and placing a free will decision before them. They would be better off if you left them alone. The conversation abruptly ended. Brethren, God does not save people differently. All are saved by the grace of God plus nothing. The application of that grace is made by the immediate life giving voice of The Son of God. No restraints to His ability to communicate. [Jhn 5:25 KJV] 25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
