Not training related, cant seem to find anything on canine health so thought Id try my luck here. This is my mums 7 year old dog, hes had a skin problem for a few years and my mum has tried everything she can think of. She has just split up with partner and cant really afford much as she is still in the middle of studying and although she loves him greatly, is trying hard not to consider pts. I got her to send me some information in the hopes that we can help him and try and find what the heck to do to stop this terrible itching. He rubs himself raw (against furniture), licks himself raw. Doesnt have fleas and he smells bad all the time even after washing him. I use sunlight soap. On the phone she told me its been getting worse to the point where, as you can see, he is tearing his skin open. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
