Not trying to start something, but maybe some of you can shed some light on this. Addey, Beau and Carlee wanted to join track this year. We HAVE, or HAD a great track coach, Mr. Waycott. I wont mention the name, but someone convinced him (even though he teaches at Eminence) to coach track at Cloverdale....? THEN, they bring in a guy whos never been in track, from Greencastle...(?) to be the track coach. There were 14 kids in middle school that joined. Half have already lost interest and dropped out. Now, the triplets are torn, because they all REALLY wanted to be in track. The man has a lot on his plate...wasnt in track, never coached track, and now hes the junior high AND high school track coach...from Greencastle.... :/ He has the junior high kids exercise to warm up and then run, run, run, while he works with the high school. They are pretty much on there own. They are so down (one even cried) because they really did want to be in track. Two others are going to quit and Im sure these three. Junior High is where they need guidance so that when they get in high school, theyll know the basics and work to perfect them. Just sayin ...
