Nayak In CRLA No. 519 of 2009 D/- 9-1-2013 Public Servant convicted on corruption charges not entitled for Suspension of order of conviction during pendency of appeal filed against order of conviction. Public Servant was convicted for manipulating of result sheets of students and on basis of conviction his pension was with held. Withholding of pension did not amount to irreversible consequence in as much as if conviction was set aside in appeal Public Servant would be entitled to entire arrears of pension. Thus Conviction for offence of corruption could not be suspended as failure to suspend conviction would not lead to injustice and irreversible consequence. 2013 Cri L J August Part
