Is the Cross/Jesus Enough for you? Speaking on the North American Church is such a Touchy subject Today.Not many people speak on it.If someone does,theres many who point the finger and say dont be so judgementalThan go back to there little comfortable lives.There will always be someone in disagreement. Its gets so Political sometimes,whos right whos wrong.Wheres the love in that?In church sometimes we can make issues out of things hat werent meant to be issues.(Devo. #2 is on slow to speak quick to listen :D) If we dont allow God to speak through and stand up.We join in the NO GROWTH WAGON.Putting a cap on the power of Christ at work within us.Its Heart Breaking. In the Church today,we all bring in so much baggage to the table.We can go such a direction,going on this tangent becoming something that God never intended it to be . How we were brought up,the rules,the systems,the teachings,the way we think church ought to be. Getting so caught up with traditions,our performance,our righteous acts,our own image(how we look, how others see us) I sometimes feel many are missing it. *Church should be ALL about JESUS. Period.Church should be a time when were all just blown away for all that He has done for us* not only at church either we should be living it out daily praising him in everything that we do. Take a deep breathe...You just took that breathe because a Almighty being,Jesus,allowed you too. We all hear the story of Jesus so much,does it become faded,less powerful? I hope not.Its something that should be continually refreshed in your mind,daily. There is nothing more greater that what Jesus has done for us. Colossians 2:13-15 13 And when your flesh was still uncircumcised—dead in transgression and swathed in its sinful nature—it was God who brought us[a] to life with Him, forgave all our sins, and 14 eliminated the massive debt we incurred by the law that stood against us. He took it all away; He nailed it to the cross. But that’s not all. 15 He disarmed those who once ruled over us—those who had overpowered us. Like captives of war, He put them on display to the world to show His victory over them by means of the cross. Colossians 2:13-15 13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities[a] and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. Think about this with fresh Eyes. You were going to stand before for the Creator,the Great almighty,God and be judged. You were going to answer to God all the written code,word,you have broken. Can you imagine standing before the Almighty Creator knowing that you are guilty,and there is no hope for you.feeling that quench of the Undiluted wrath of God coming upon you.thats a scary thought right? But Our God Who loves us so much more than to leave us at that. We WERE Eternally Separated from God because of are own choice,he gave us free will to choose.we said he wasnt enough,and put are selves before him.out of are own selfishness we sin.Against His perfection He leads.God has always loved us more than we can understand,he wants and intends the best for us. So hes like I want a relationship with my creation,I want them to be set free from sin,and perfect in my image so that they may have life within me and I in them So in order for us to become reunited in Spirit,Heart,Mind and Soul.With our Creator Someone had to pay the price for us.someone that was perfect beyond all measure.and since no one could fit Gods criteria.He sent himself. manifested as a Man,Jesus Christ*.to die for us.to PAY the cost of are sin.and he rose again.which means the check cleared. That is how great Gods love for us.For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal( Everlasting ) life. The wrath of God has been extinguished forever in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Tonight, all those who are saved by the grace of God stand under the umbrella of that grace, forever sheltered and protected from the terrible wrath of the Almighty. That, in itself, is a reason for praise and glory to be given to the Lord! He took all of our eternity of punishment and nailed it to the cross.And when we inbrace that and believe it. All is forgiven. It doesnt matter who you are.The blessing comes first. Than we walk in the Spirit in order to become the Men and Women of God we were predestined to be. In Christ. It should be all that matter to you. Dont let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink with regard to religious festival a new Moon celebration or Sabbathday these are all eyeshadow of the things I want to call the reality however is in Christ just told dont come to church and allow other people to judge you like these scenes are going way to second you know why did you eat raisin bread why did you you dont drink coffee while you do you know why did you do that and impulsing dont let them make that the issue dont ever let anyone take the focus off of Jesus Christ you can forgive me because what you said on across the let anyone take away any of that dont let them judge you dont want to discourage this ought to be a time where we come together and we rejoiced we celebrate what Jesus did in our lives dont let someone come and tell you Loveeny Jesus and this ritual in Jesus and this and I dont know if youre doing out well enough that have you lose your joy lose your your focus on Jesus Christ and turn it so something else. Colossians 2:19-23 (NIV) 19 He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow. 20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: 21 Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!? 22 These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence. So I just need to do this one little thing to help The Creator get by and than Im saved or than I earn my place. I need to wear a tie to church cause Jesus wore a tie.right? Ill just get this out there.I Absolutely hate Religion. Hate it! But I Love Jesus. Religion Its this mind set that keeps us working for something thats been given to us for free.What more can we add to all that Jesus has already given? And we do it as if we can add to all that he is already given us. Its not Jesus+ this little tradition and you are saved and forgiven.No. His cross is enough. He is enough. Jesus+Nothing=Everything
