Note from Dr Subariah to all research students : This is an early announcement of Postgraduate Annual research Seminar 2014 (PARS 2014) which will be held on 29 September - 1 October 2014. As in the previous year, the PhD students who are in Sem 2, 4, 5 and 6 and master students who are in sem 3 & 4 in Sem 1 2014/15 are required to present during PARS 2014. For this year, students are required to submit a Research Progress Report of 8-10 pages which contains the following: Introduction Overview of Research Trend · Research Description Overview of the Problem Background Research Purpose/Aims/Objectives Problem and Solution Concept Research Methodology Proposed Approach · Progress Report Main Achievement (according to steps in Research Methodology Phases) Future Development Estimated Work Plan for the Remaining Time Conclusions This format of progress report will be the template for the progress report that every research students need to submit at the end of every semester. Therefore all students (whether you are required to participate in PARS2014 or not) are encouraged to prepare the report early so that you can submit the progress report before the deadline. For those who will be participating in PARS2014, your preparation of progress report for PARS2014 will make you easier to prepare the report for submitting at the end of the semester.
