Thank you for your workshop and class as I intentionally put myself there to become vulnerable - not always easy for me when brought up not to be sad or angry but only good and happy. I do not believe this at all however today. How wonderful that you brought yourself out of darkness to the place you are at today.It is out of our life experiences I believe that the lessons we learn -- no matter how painful - are the ones that are meant for us on our journey. I am a psychotherapist (over 40 years and thus the email momshrink as my kids would say Mom the Shrink) but all the training and degrees mean nothing. It has been my life and my faith that has guided me. I, as you seem to , find it an amazing privilege to be a part of peoples lives and watch the courageous steps they are able to take-- not to be measured by anyone or anything but just to learn to find out who they are and find that they are lovable. What I love about you is your boldness and ability to be loud. Sometimes I find this too much for me with people but because you shared who you are it was just right. Quiet and reflection is usually what centers me but music like Amazing Grace (which you played in your class) overwhelms me( played at Michaels funeral).
