Note on inclement weather and confirmation of scheduled sessions: With regards to inclement weather with scheduled outdoor sessions, I will contact you by phone and within an hour prior to your session if it is not going to be possible to have your session that day. I will offer you the option to reschedule at no extra charge or to receive a refund of your retainer fee. With regards to rescheduling, I will only offer rescheduling on Sundays if your session was confirmed for the day before and if I have times available at the time. Regarding confirmation of scheduled sessions, 50% of your session fees are due prior to the date of your scheduled session. These need to be paid within one week of booking your session in order for me to guarantee you the date and time you requested. I do understand this may not always be possible and will contact you if a conflict arises. However, if these are not paid within 3 days of your scheduled session date and time, other arrangements will need to be made. I do not intend to upset anyone with this policy, but I do need to make child care arrangements for my children for your session time and will not do so if I do not have confirmation. I have included the following Retainer and Payment schedule from the agreement everyone signs prior to their portrait sessions. I am aware that things come up. Please keep in contact with me. I will work with you with regards to your retainer fee if you notify me within enough time prior to your confirmed session. RETAINER & PAYMENT SCHEDULE: 50% of the total cost is due at time of signing this agreement and upon scheduling the session, unless an event is schedule. If scheduling photographer for an event, $100 deposit must be paid in full at the time of signing this agreement and upon scheduling the session. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER. In the event of cancellation, the retainer paid is non-refundable. It shall be liquidated for damages to PBR in the event of a cancelation, or breach of contract by the CLIENT. The CLIENT shall also be responsible for payment of any PBR materials/charges incurred up to time of cancellation. In the event the CLIENT needs to reschedule the session, PBR must be notified at least 5 hours prior to session time or the session will be counted as a cancellation and the CLIENT will be required to purchase a new package. The retainer shall be applied towards the total cost of the service to be rendered. The remaining charges are payable in full on the date of the session.
