Note to Jonah Goldberg: even is all the arguments for the invasion - TopicsExpress

Note to Jonah Goldberg: even is all the arguments for the invasion of Iraq were true, the argumens against it were superior From a purely military perspective. Assholes like you like to quote Sun Tsu without understanding what you were quoting. If ever there was a situation where avoiding combat obtained (within the context of Sun Tsu), it was Iraq, led by Saddam Hussein.. Not invading was an exercise in the principle of economy, especially given the imperative of establishing republican structures in Afghanistan. Time was our principle resource and we needed only to leverage entropy to accomplish regime change in Iraq and an orderly reconfiguration of the Iraq military establishment. Instead, the Cheney administration, informed by the arguments you so fondly recall, squandered not just the element of time and the advantage of economy, but created a vacuum which ISIS created when it punctured the mirage of national self-sufficiency which the incompetency of the Cheney administration promoted as a substitute for responsible leadership. But the arguments were not just swamp gas, they were outright lies promoted by Cheney and people like you for purely venal purposes. The fact that you may have believed they reflected noble purpose and high ideals just measures how fundamentally stupid you are because I dont believe you and your girly-boy comrades-in-arms like Rich Lowry, Bill OReilly, Tucker Carlson, George F. Will and the sainted Michael Kelly had the slightest idea what you were talking about. It was all lies and the cost to Colin Powells service is just one of the costs to national honor and moral authorit The only claim to American Exceptionalism you can share in is how exceptionally stupid you are and the core of out-right cowardice your total lack of persoaal insight that your continued embrace of Cheneys lies represents. You prefer to remember how good it felt to start a war and are afraid to face the essential emptiness of your putrid soul. When I think of you, I think of Bill Kristol, and when I think of Bill Kristol, I think of the last lines of The Patriot;s Game: The Quislings who sold out The Patriot;s Game.... ...and the blood of true American Patriots who died for your asshole arguments.
