Note to Self: We all have one...No matter how perfect we desire to appear in the public eye, we all have one(maybe more)...From the most notable leaders to the forgotten followers we all have at least one thorn in our flesh...Something we cant pray away, fast away or throw away....Why? Because it has a purpose to humble us and prevent our pride from destroying us....Does this thorn feel good? HELL NO...Does this thorn pop up at the most inconvenient times? HELL YES......If you are like me and your thorn has you at the boiling point, breaking point or even the choking point(not implying choking someone, but choking in the sense of making a bad decision based on feelings), I would say to you BE ENCOURAGE....When you have done all you can, STAND and realize you are standing in your answer....You are standing in Gods Grace.....Where would WE be without Gods Grace?...........So be a vessel(not a dam or Adam) of Gods Grace...Remember we sang I give myself away, so you can use me? Preach the word without Preaching the word....Be a demonstration, illustration and a presentation of Gods Grace & Gods Love... Self Medication: 2 Corinthians 12:7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given to me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. I boldly confess, I have weaknesses...So I am beyond thankful for Gods Grace & Mercy throughout my life.
