Note to self: The next time we get 5 of heavy, wet, snow/ice/sleet crap on top of the very muddy spring driveway opt to have the plow guy come and clean it up -- even though he will get irritated and tell you what a mess it will make -- even though it will churn the muddy driveway into a muddy quagmire -- even though you will have driveway guts all over the lawn. Why? Because if you dont, the very small car will not be able to move more than 2 feet before getting impossibly stuck! Thank you to big brother, Ted (again) and his tractor for saving me. Spending over an hour stuck in my driveway at 6:15ish is NOT my idea of a good time. I forgot my lunch, didnt get the oreo truffles dropped off at the church and my back has been on the verge of spasming all day. (From shoveling, and shoveling some more, around the car, under the car -- everywhere.) On the up side, the vet is happy with Dugs weight, he will start his allergy medicine this week (downside -- $$$). And one more upside -- I will not get stuck in my driveway if I park at the very end of it. (Downside -- walking through the mud to get to the house.) It has been a day.
