Note to those taking estrogen: whatever you do, PLEASE try to make sure that you dont ever run out. Dont wait till your script is used up to fill it. A week without estrogen gives you some nasty side effects. Headaches, disconnected feeling, random crying outbursts for no apparent reason, and did I say headaches? The headaches are the worst. Fortunately, those have stopped today, and the fogginess is also subsiding. No, this was not an intentional act on my part, my healthcare provider had a deal with a pharmacy that no longer participates in the plan, and failed to transfer my prescription or prescribe me with an oral version until my script for IM and IM supplies goes to the new mail-order-only pharmacy that now participates in the discount plan. I wasnt prepared to spend $300 on a script thats usually $50 - and good thing I didnt from a financial perspective with auto repairs needed. But from a mental health viewpoint, I wish I had just spent the money and paid full price.
