Notes From The Diary Of Boo Radley, Volume 2 Page Fifty Four Oh what a GLORIOUS day! My person and I traveled to a mighty river, where I conquered the territory, leaving my mark everywhere until I ran out of marking fluid. Then I dedicated myself to fetching my Binky from the water repeatedly until I was exhausted. I also practiced some evening games, and watched nervously as my person and her person pack entered the river much too deeply. I do not care for her to wade into areas in which I cannot stand on my own four feet. I attempted to rescue her but she only howled mirthfully and made these barks. Imfinedontworrybuddy. Despite the fact that she did not wish to be rescued, she did appreciate my watchfulness and insisted I stay close to the riverbank. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and now I lay next to the yellow one. Smugly I tell her of my adventures, but she does not care to swim and so my gloating is lost upon her. Little Sister listens wide-eyed and insists that she would simply swoon if asked to plunge into a dangerous river, and oh how glad she is that she was not called upon to do so. Although I generally do not care to have them in my presence, there are times when I sorely wish I had another male around, to appreciate my tales of bravery and excitement. Females just dont understand. Yours, Boo Radley
