Notes From The Diary Of Boo Radley, Volume Three Page Nine Today my persons visitor and her little blue dog left in the wagon with her. When they returned the little blue dog was exhausted. She barked of being chased by many strange dogs of all ages and sizes, and chasing them in return. She played with Binkies that danced in the air and threw themselves and needed no persons to hold them. She wandered about sniffing smells of great hooved beasts and animals she could not identify. She played with crunchies and met a giant white dog as big as a hooved beast, who roams the meadow and keeps enemies away from the castle. I can only assume he is the king of this place she visited. That is, if this place truly exists. She is a nice little female and seems honest enough, but I find myself doubting the veracity of her tale. Binkies that throw themselves? Dogs as big as hooved beasts? And perhaps the most incredulous bit of her story-a canine choosing to play with a crunchy! Every dog knows that crunchies are wicked little creatures, taunting us with their strange eyes, crouching just out of reach and swishing those delicious looking tails. Why on earth would a crunchy play with a dog, when we could crush them in our mighty jaws in a moment? I am inclined to believe that this sweet earnest little pup may have slept the day away and dreamed these events. I myself often dream of Binkies, although never do they dance in the air of their own accord. Yours In Amusement, Boo Radley
