Notes on Sculpey Bake & Bend: -unbaked clay is super soft, tricky to work with, almost too soft for push molds -colour comes off a bit on your hands when working -baking darkens colour (wtf!?) -bonds reluctantly with itself and other sculpey/fimo types, liquid sculpey applied between parts helps adhesion -finished product is like a hard rubber (think oldschool wwf figures) -cant be painted, gotta mix coloured clay -great for toys & things that are meant to be handled, or bits of sculptures you want to have some flex (tentacles, antennae, hair, etc. etc.), the thinner the piece, the more flexible itll be (doy) -I can only find it in 8 brick kits, each brick is 2 oz., costs about as much as a 1lb. super sculpey Two thumbs up, overall, but it takes a bit to get used to.
