Nothing Comes as a Surprise Anymore Nothing comes as a surprise anymore, its blatantly obvious, You have people who are like sharks, so vicious, They cant stand the fact that you feel glorious, That theyll do anything to stop you from becoming victorious. Youre always going to have the ones trying to tear you down, While youre up theyll be trying to kick you to the ground, Theyre usually the ones that dont even make a sound, Just watching you until they get a chance and it will be so profound. You have the people that dont want you to stand tall, Theyre just waiting for you, like the twin towers, to crumble and fall, Some people dont want you to become successful, they want you to run head first into a wall, And theyre just trying to kill your shine for no reason at all. They dont want you to accomplish anything, Theyd love it if your life was totally sinking, It bring them joy to know that your dreams were demolishing, And while youre still trying, theyll be just like a baby peacefully sleeping. Its not a surprise that youll have that one person cheering you to fail, It could be an enemy or a friend, sometimes its hard to tell, Dont let that distract you from jumping on your dream and setting sail, Just ride it out until you can laugh in their face because you prevailed. Dont let anyone make you doubt yourself or discourage you, You know what youre capable of, so dont let anyone underestimate you, Stand strong holding onto faith and believing in you, Because no one can take that away from you.
