Nothing can top the Christmas present I received. Some may know this about me and some may not. When I was young I helped conceive a baby girl. I was young and scared and felt we could not live up to the job of raising a child so We choose to put her up for adoption. I was allowed to choose the parents and even got to be with them, wonderful people, in person before they became her loving parents. I have felt a void in me this whole time but knew it was the right choice. I have just received a friend request from her and I am connecting with her. I new it would happen one day but feel I can finally exhale. I feel I need to put it out there, to be witnessed by you all. I hope this will bring healing, understanding and deep connection. I am grateful to step into this new chapter of this life. Thanks for hearing/seeing/feeling me. Love you all and pray your Holidays bring growth as well. Love Mikey Shantaya
