Nothing can wind me up for the pitch quite like technological challenges. Wire-rolls my brain like a tight spring and then BOING!!!!! When I get to that level of engagement, of having tried everything, suddenly throwing the computer out of the window seems like a viable option and one I ought to consider. Fortunately the impulse is quick and I have the capacity to override the urge. Walk away. Walk! and walk away. Always a good solution. The human version of a reboot. The spring is sprung. Fresh eyes come back to technology and everything is (whew) better. Whats your default action for computer frustration?
