Nothing frustrates me more than those who think that they are above the laws that we are held to... Over and over we see hypocrisy from those who want it their way, but we cannot have it our way... We have had long standing issues with the OC Sheriff and how they hot-rod around our community, go lights when they want to not wait for the left turn arrow, park facing the wrong way on the streets, run stop signs, talk on the phones while driving etc... And here is another example of the things that would cost me $400 if I were on that road driving the way these officers were... but yet, they get a pass... It is a bummer... I want to respect the officers for what they do, but this double standard is unacceptable... (and by the way, most officer injuries are the result of auto accidents... and not by suspects or by getting shot...)
