Nothing has changed, funky people have only shifted how they operate ... RACISM STILL EXISTS ... This is the crap that folks of color have been dealin with since the beginning and still have to deal wit in the end ... This is wat feeds into the pain and anger that has accumulated and eventually gives rise to action ... Hate the riots if u must but they are a perceivably tangible response in the face of all the dehumanization and attempts to dis-empower communities of color ... in the face of all the crap they gotta deal wit they doin what they feel they can do. And its like u dont know WTF is up until ur 24-7 in the body of folks dealin with all the crazy ish bombarding them. Are riots the best choice of action? ... Im not a fan of destructive processes, but any action is better then inaction ... its where we set a starting point from where all else can grow/organize from toward getting that justice, cuz even after a riot the people that were ignoring u from the start will begin to listen even if only a little. Its time we all DISCOVER OUR AGENCY.
