Persistence and determination are omnipotent." -Calvin Coolidge This was one of my most favorite quotes as I struggled through Organic Chemistry class in college. I see this quote in Carmen now. She is determined to get better, however, she still needs your help. Her lungs are not showing the improvement which we would have expected by now. Sure, she is no longer on the ventilator, but her oxygen stats drop when she tries to stand up and her x-rays remain unchanged. She has not stood up yet or taken any steps, although we encourage her to be patient. Carmen has basically ascended Mt. Fuji in her recovery, she is almost at the summit, but needs a little push to get over the peak! We ask that you continue to pray for her lungs and send that healing energy that has gotten her to this point! Help us to remind her that slow and steady win the race.
