Nothing is better on a chilly, rainy night than Chili and Cornbread. When meat is nice and browned, add a can of seasoned black beans (dont drain), a can of diced tomatoes, and a can tomato sauce and stir. Then grab a tablespoon from your utensil drawer. No exact measurements here. Add: 1/2 spoonful of chicken broth powder, 2 spoons each powdered cumin and great chili powder, 2 spoons of dried onions. Stir. Taste. Add more bullion powder if you need to. Simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, turn on the oven. When there is 2 minutes on the clock, mix up a small package of mexican cornbread. Add 1/2 cup sour cream to the mix after you mix in the milk and the egg. Pour thin batter over chili. Pop it all in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve and top with sour cream and cheese. Yum.
