You may have found yourself tirelessly and persistently attempting to influence others. The results of your actions were chasing your audience away. Try a gentle approach. Inquire what the needs of the other person might be. Ask questions and be willing to invest in another persons perceived needs. Invite others to explore and consider taking a look at a few options that may meet their needs. Gentleness provides choice, freedom, connection and eventually ownership. Thats where the real strength lies. Being gentle invokes an atmosphere and culture that is representative of: Invited, not pushed; safe, not cornered. Making others feel safe, heard and connected is an art called friendship. Wouldnt you appreciate that kind of respect being extended to you?
