Nothing like coming back from a short time away from.the job site, like an hour and finding half the herd on the wrong side of the fence to help get one out of their seemingly hard head space. Grateful that 1. There was a big grassy field occupying them 2. That said field was big enough to give a bit of distance from some very busy roads3. That they were stuffed like mushrooms with food and moving kind of slowly4. That i had time to set up a catch pen before bringing in pearl to roun them up 5. That pearl did not decide to perform her Rambo impersonation and finally 6. That i found the hole in the fence and was able to get them all back through it without incident. Nice dose of gratitude to go to bed with.
