Nothing says Merry Christmas! like not being able to find a parking spot at the store and ease-dropping on some interesting conversations at the store. For example (something I heard today at Fred Meyer): Child: Would dad like these? [holds up rubber boots] Mother: Why would he? Does he need some? Child: I dont know, but I remember him saying to you he needs more rubbers so he doesnt slip and have another me. What does that mean? [Mother looks at me, completely embarrassed and I throw her a thumbs up] Mother: Those boots are too big. Lets get him something smaller so he doesnt slip out of them again. Merry Christmas and Happy Festivus!
