Nothing set in stone yet, but they are talking about maybe sending him to V.A.----ICU. More long term and he is going to be on the ventilator for a while. Be better for him with the kids visitation. His care here has topped 2 million $$$.Not even counting anything at V.A. They have taken such good care of him and done everything possible. On the other hand, I realize without V.A. and Medicare he would not be alive. Made friends with a lady whose husband was in a car accident that is in as bad shape as Claude. She loves her husband the same as I do mine, but not having the coverage we do, his life does not count for as much to the hospitals. That is so unfair. please pray for Vickey and Jimmy. It breaks my heart to see my Sweetheart so depressed and hard for him to smile. He is so independent and modest and to have to lay there helpless and have everything done for him is killing him. He always prayed that he would not have a stroke, he said he could not live like that. Even though he has not had a stroke it is about the same. Please keep him in your prayers.
