Notice some are asking about blue Inc closing so heres the lowdown (as much as we were told. We had to close due to primark wanting to run an entrance point next to the store only they then said they needed more width and it wouldve taken too much retail space up and wed have lost the upstairs stockrooms so the lease wasnt renewed and no other suitable locations in town so doors closed yesterday at 4 PM. All bar the manager had to take redundancy as we couldnt travel as the hours worked,thus wages earned, would be outweighed by the travelling costs incured. The company wants to be in town so are just waiting on something coming up. Primark have closed 4 shops (cheque centre, blue inc, duffer and the pound shop) and relocated a 5th (casa ristelli) to open. I hope the council and assorted responsible peoples are happy with themselves and not just because many have lost their jobs and businesses...the town is missing out on much needed variety all in the name of cheap cruddy clothes that dont last 5 minutes! Sorry all
