Notice that the Lord doesnt rebuke the dirty saint, but he rebukes the accusing devil. He changes the saint to resemble Himself and he silences the accusations of the devil… No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me; From lifes first cry to final breath. Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand; Till He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ Ill stand. And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
