A Code was implemented into the Java Script, affecting all sites hosted via Freedom Hosting. The IP of the users were then sent to a U.S. defense department security contractor called SAIC. The script was written to target Firefox 17 ESR, Anyone with a newer version of TOR was safe from the attack. To check your version of Tor, click on the top left button that says "TorBrowser" then hover over "Help" then click "about TorBrowser" If it says 17 ESR, you were vulnerable to the attack, If it says 17.0.7, You have the latest version, and the Script didnt work. Tor Provides a way for Journalists and Citizens of Repressed countries to Get on the Internet, without their Dictators knowing.
