Noticed my wonderful sisters post who was with us when the accident with Trevor happened at last nights game asked for prayers on our behalf. So many of you I dont even know to thank. Starting with the Doctor who was there.....Then all the others, and messages of prayer he received we TRULY appreciate. I know in the scheme of things it was REALLY small. So many going through BIG life altering circumstances. However....it is always scary when you see fear in you childs eyes and blood pouring. Hopefully this will answer all the questions so I won t need to repeat. He did not get the tongue stitched....although we are amazed. It looks terrible, poor guy. The doctor said he very well could, but it would be painful and it is a deep puncture, not split so it will heal. It is deep and big, so it is almost impossible to swallow, drink, and certainly eat without it being very painful for the little guy. He has tried and tried, but it isnt working. The top two permanent teeth are loose, one a lot looser. So he is going to the dentist today to see what to do. The chin, throat and jaw are sore. So he is just miserable...BUT IT COULD ALWAYS BE MUCH MUCH WORSE!! Praise God TRULY that he did not hit his head or something!!!! He just needs prayer, had a very rough night and can not find something he can eat or for comfort. I DO NOT Ever underestimate prayer, I asked for it, and thank God for those who said it!!!! Like my sister said, i do not handle blood, gore, or stuff like that well! Last night Jason wasnt much better! Lol I just wanted the experience to not traumatize him, and it didnt!!! We had an excellent DR!!!!! Anyway.....all around praise! Thank you Lord for your protection and the hands that care for my son, prayed for him(us,) and that helped. Thank you for my CALM sister in moments like this! So thankful for a group to go to for prayer......just another reason to come visit us (or get involved in a church.) It is in moments like these that you see you have an army that will be right there to run to!
