Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School teacher honored with Master Teacher desingation... NDCLs English Department chairperson Mrs. Beth Walsh-Moorman recently achieved the State of Ohios Master Teacher designation. Teachers earn Master Teacher status by demonstrating exemplary performance in five professional performance areas: leadership, collaboration, focus on students, focus on content, and professional growth. Mrs. Walsh-Moorman submitted a detailed application that documented her work in each of these critical dimensions of the teaching profession. Her application was reviewed by a committee of educators working for the Diocese of Clevelands Office of Catholic Education. An official from the Diocese indicated that the reviewers were very impressed by the quality of Mrs. Walsh-Moormans work. Mrs. Walsh-Moorman is truly an impact player in so many aspects of school life at NDCL, commented Principal Mr. Joseph A. Waler. She is always looking at how we might improve our educational program, especially in English, so that our students experience the very finest Catholic college preparatory education we can offer. Mrs. Walsh-Moorman, who is currently a doctoral student at Kent State University, has taught at NDCL since 2006. She is the mother of Katie 14, Megan 16, and Patrick 18.
