Nottinghamshire F.C Reserves Vs Clifton AFC Player Ratings Adam Commander GK – 8.0 (Made 1 mistake all game went from 8.5 to 8.0 very vocal and most of the game claimed everything in the air thrown everything to the back for nice and fast well played unlucky on the 1 mistake !!!) Marc Jacklin RB – 7.5 (Done some cracking runs and had a belter of a shot 1st half needs to work on when to overlap and maybe look inside a little bit more, on the whole a decent game getting better each week needs to get to training so don’t run out of steam) Liam Trout CB – 8.9 (1st half kept a high line left the forwards offside every time put some cracking tackles in and like to play out of defence. 2nd half dropped a little deeper as centre mid was injured and the back 4 started to get stretched which allowed Clifton to push up individual game was spot on just needs to keep defence disciplined doing a great job!!!) Cal Capstaff CB – 8.0 (Not a CB but put in a shift for the lads just come back from injury and played a full game when further up the pitch will cause alot of damage done what he needed to do well deserved 8.0) Alex Richards LB – 7.7 (Not Alex’s best game for Notts played against his own team mate and felt like he didn’t wanna go in to much great passing ability and when he pushes on for overlapping looks very dangerous. Got wind up cus he felt people was getting on at him just want Alex to take his time massive ability and potential 1st half shown us what he can do!!! Head up Shagg!!! Liam Kerry RM – 9.5 MOM (Fantastic game from Kezza defenders didn’t know how to deal with him ran them ragged played the ball well and always looks to link up play just couldn’t find that final ball but that will come had a lot of shit off the defenders pushing him in the back which I didn’t give free kicks for and should of had a penalty 1st couple of mins in well played Kezza I can see a great season coming up) Ryan Pearson CM – 7.8 (would of been a much higher rating but got injured late first half I love the way Ryan plays always looking for Russell and play great football together got himself in some great positions on the edge of the box if the team found him would of deffo had a hatrick hope your fit for next week shagg !!!) Loui Farmer CM - 8.0 (Don’t think I have saw Loui have a bad game yet very consistent player and has massive passion for the club even though he not been here long as all the players this season, love putting in big tackles want his normal self but 1st half had a stormer 2nd half not just Loui all players dropped the level a little) Connor Bolton LM – 6.9 (first ever game for Nott’s want a bad start but can tell he needs match fitness 1st half looked buzzing taking on players think he got a knock on his ankle when he come out 2nd half started to blow really started to struggle I believe Connor will be a great asset to Nott’s when he gets a little fitter well played mate) Matt Commander ST – 7.7 (Set a goal up had a heavy touch but put himself about as for a few players want his best ever game but done enough passing and touches want up there but every player has a off game matt is gonna be a key part of Nott’s and can dictate play won headers in the air and usual great with ball at his feet, needs to get closer to Russell upfront but that will come) Alex Russell ST – 8.5 (Russell’s movement alone deserves this rating, dropped deep to get the ball and the Clifton defenders did not know how to deal with it playing some great passes into Kezza and making some excellent runs at defence got his name on the score sheet after winning a penalty his shooting want up with his best but Russell knows that himself still a lot more to come off Russell 2nd half due to injuries and players going off was playing with 9 players at some points of the game and didn’t have options can see him scoring loads of goals this season well played shagg!!!) Jake King- RM – 8.0 (played for Clifton as they were short on players had a full game and it’s the best I saw Jake play so far ran at Alex played the ball easy and to say it’s the first time he has played with the Clifton boys he done well I told Jake to play his game and don’t hold back and he didn’t got denied a cracking goal by a offside I like his determination well done Jake) Jahdell LM – 7.7 (once again played for Clifton due to short players but 2nd half gave marc a really good battle played the ball easy when in possession never stopped running probably the best I saw Jahdell preseason keep and nearly got himself on the score sheet with a cracking little run on a corner near post keep it up pal !!!) MOM – Liam Kerry DONKEY OF THE MATCH = JORDAN WALKER FOR NOT TURNING UP FOR BEING PISSED HAHAHAHA PUNISHMENT IS SWEET Match Review – 1st half best football I saw our team play starting to gel, with players out missing as well great footballing team which is what we wanted no long balls (minimal)!!!!!!!!!! Pushed Clifton back made them defend deep with our LB/RB overlapping played patient football and if we took our chances should of won the game 2nd half due to injuries we got pushed back but still had more chances 2 soft conceded goals but still shown we were the better team. Outcome Nott’s2-2 Clifton AFC We should of won, fair play to Clifton for not giving in!!! Opinions Boys
