Nottinghill Equestrian Centre owner Kraai Kamffer was a fabulous host yesterday. Landé Willemse organised a beautiful & well schooled WB (Flings horse) for me to ride in the 5pm ladies flatwork lesson, which was like putting an old pair of shoes on & feeling like one is back home. It was a stark reminder though, that to be able to KICK BUTT in the competition arena, like Fling riding Kraais breeding stallion On Track - below (by the way a temperament to die for) - YOU HAVE TO BE RIDING FIT!! Riding one horse a day is insufficient, additional fitness and core strength training is required. Maximising your opportunity to WIN. Needless to say, I can boast of having the feeling of a job well done - thanks Kraai. EISH... the muscles in my core ache. LOL To be a SUCCESSFUL EVENTER, attention needs to be given to a training programme in all three disciplines.
