Nov.8,2014. Take a look at these buildings and streets. The spring of 2015 will mark the start of the demolition of many of these buildings. Some will be saved and some will be torn down to make way for the construction of the MGM buildings.In one of the photos you can see from Main St down lower State St,past the Keg Room to the end. in another photo you can see from Main and State going south to Union St.,and in the other photo you can see down Howard Street. Pretty much this is the area where the 2011 tornado hit hard and there are not too many buildings left in this area.Alot of empty lots.As the demolition and building starts in the spring i will be there and will post photos.Lets just hope they keep their promises...........
