NovaEdu Job Broadcast- Position Title: Desktop Support Reports to: IT Manager RE/MAX Integra has an opening for a co-op Desktop Support position to join the technology team. The position involves troubleshooting, support and configuration of a variety of business applications and platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Un-box and setup of new workstations and migrate data between workstations 2. Imaging PCs with the Windows 7/8 Operating System 3. Installation of software applications and peripheral devices on Mac and PC 4. Setup and troubleshoot Blackberry and iOS devices 5. Setup email and MDM on mobile devices 6. Performing quality checks and monitoring of backup jobs 7. User remote support 8. Anti-virus and Malware support and detection 9. Setup and support Google Apps for business accounts 10. Troubleshoot technical issues, document and compose technical manuals Qualifications Required: 1. Able to work in a fast paced environment 2. Ability to multitask and prioritize work 3. Strong verbal and written communication skills 4. Ability to work independently within a team setting 5. Monitoring systems activities 6. Strong out of the box thinking and a curious mind Technical Requirements: 1. Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology 2. Strong knowledge and proficiency in providing support of Productivity Applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Pro, Adobe FlashPlayer, Silverlight and GP accounting software. 3. Understanding of network TCP/IP concepts both wired and wireless 4. Ability to troubleshoot Printer and LAN Hardware issues 5.
