November 10 - Thanks God for giving me my laptop back. After a whole week of it being dead, my laptop resurrected today!! But, most importantly, thanks God for making me realize that I dont really need all the high-tech in my life to be happy :) Now, copying from my handwritten list of Thankful November: November 4 - Thanks God for giving me a career that I love, a job that I enjoy doing, and the skills for performing it well. Like Steve Jobs said: I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer has been No for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.. I am grateful to wake up every morning and say YES, I want to go and enjoy what I do for a living. Off to work, family!. November 5 - Thanks God for coffee! Definitely a big part of my personality :) November 6 - Thanks God for allowing me to help others and bring sincere smiles to the faces of the ones I love. A smile given by someone you care for is definitely the biggest gift you can have... and its for free! :) November 7 - Thanks God for my amazing aunts, uncles and cousins. I love each and every one of you, and you know it! Whether you are far (Peru or Spain) or close (US), you are always in my heart! November 8 - Thanks God for my friends. The old and the new. The ones that I speak to on a regular basis, and the ones that even though we dont speak for months or years it seems like no time has gone by. Like Pearl Jams lyrics: Im a lucky (wo)man, to count on both hands the ones I love. Some folks just have one, yeah others theyve got none uh oh... Stay with me, lets just breathe :)
