November 13, 2013: A note from Rob Benedict: Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I’ve recently had to deal with a bit of a medical issue. I’m doing great and am going to continue to do better, but my doctors, family, and Creation feel it is in my best interest to limit my appearance schedule for Burbank. That doesnt mean I won’t be popping by to say hey, it just means I won’t be able to be as involved as usual. And don’t worry - The Louden Swain show will go on, with Supernatural All-Stars filling in for me, including one very special guest. I plan on being back in full swing both with the convention and the band in Vegas! I appreciate your understanding and know you’re going to have a great time. With much love, Rob Im sure by now most of us have seen this message from Rob on Creations BurCon page or heard about his announcement this weekend about the stroke he suffered at TorCon. I proposed on the Dallas WoL page sending him a group get well message to let him know he was in our thoughts and prayers, and it was suggested we open it up and make it a WoL HQ project. Ive set up an email account - WishesForRob@gmail - for anyone who would like to send well-wishes, thoughts, drawings, etc for Rob. Ill compile it all into some sort of book or binder for him with a WoL cover. If anyone wants to send something that would be better as an original rather than a print out message me privately for snail mail. I think there should be a deadline so we can get this to him as soon as possible. What do yall think about December 15th? Thats three weeks, which would allow for someone to get something to me via snail mail, and would also give us time to get it to him in time for the holidays as well which would be nice. Lets band together and show him that the WoLs are wishing him a speedy recovery!
