National Fuel is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Engineer to serve as an integral member of the Pipeline Integrity team that is responsible for insuring the safety and integrity of our natural gas pipeline system and facilities. The successful candidate will be involved in the following activities: • Review and analysis of the physical attributes associated with the natural gas distribution system and the identification of risk factors and threats to the integrity of the system • Determination of preventative and mitigative measures to reduce overall risk to system facilities • Coordination of state regulatory audits • Preparation and review of state and federal regulatory reports • Coordination and review of gas facility inspections • Development and maintenance of procedures for compliance with state and federal regulations This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college. Degrees in Mechanical or Civil Engineering are preferred and concentrations in Metallurgy, Material Science and/or GIS are desirable. Professional Engineering license, EIT or NACE certification preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, proven technical abilities and strong computer skills. The ability to successfully work independently as well as within a team environment is required. Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities are essential to success in this position.
