November 16, 1985 - 29 Years Ago Today: Stevie Nicks had the Hot Shot Debut at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her single, Talk To Me. This was Nicks 9th charted single outside of Fleetwood Mac and was also her 9th consecutive Top 40 and 5th Top Ten when it peaked at No. 4 on January 25, 1986. This was the lead-off single from Stevies third solo album, Rock A Little which was her first to miss the Top Ten peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Her follow-up single wasnt from the album, but rather a live version cover of the classic hit, Needles And Pins with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers from Pettys first live album, Pack Up The Plantation: Live! The single peaked at No. 37. I Cant Wait was the second single released from Nickss album and peaked at No. 16. The final single to chart, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You missed the Top 40 and reached No. 60. A fourth single was released, Imperial Hotel, but it failed to chart.
