November 16: Today Im thankful for my life-long friends. Im referring to those friends since kindergarten and high school that have now grown into my colleagues, police and firemen, my bankers, bosses of my daughter, teachers of my school aged children, fellow cheer/band moms at ballgames, judiciary workers, architects, business owners, family photographers, and the friendly voice at Sonic that calls me by name, etc. I was reminded yesterday by my friend and banker that friendship does count for something and was humbled by his words. Today, because of his statement, Im thankful for him and all my childhood friends and encourage them to remember for just a moment today all the many wonderful memories and laughs weve all had together, and still have today. How truly fortunate we are to have each other taking care of our monies, kids, health, safety, and homes. Look how far weve come and how priceless our lives are... :)
