November 17, 2014 9:04pm Good evening. There are lots of good things happening in my life right now, I’m just sitting back and taking it all in. The setback with my foot, that started in March, when the doctor ordered me back into the “Franken-boot”, is now officially over! Late this afternoon, the podiatrist declared, “You’re foot is completely healed!” Praise the Lord! He said I can wear regular shoes again. I held onto the belief that I would not lose the foot and it did not happen. That faith was fueled by the prayers of many and for all of you who sent “knee-mail” on High, thank you! There is another announcement. This journal is coming to an end. It began in the darkest time of my life to date and it has been very theraputic to get my thoughts and feelings out of my head and onto pages. It’s kept me sane and I’ve gotten some good advice. Thanks to everyone who has been following, but I really think it’s run it’s course, in terms of helping me deal with the terrible events in my life back in 2012. Those who know..know. Those who don’t, well, I am not going to rehash it, trust me it was a tough 8 month stretch. Healing comes a day at a time and if you let it, the healing doesn’t mean the absence of pain, it means I can deal with my losses and focus on what’s ahead of me, rather than those things that I thought would be the end of me. I am still here, my children are with me, they are healthy, and my life is moving in a positive direction. Thank you all again for the help you’ve provided to me in terms of love, prayers, and support. It would not have been possible to get here without you. I am not saying I will never post again, but this chapter is over and I’m not so sure that I’m not being self-indulgent. I told myself I would stop when I believe it’s run it’s course and I am there. Thank you again for helping me and my girls. ()
