November 17th Day 4 I Can Statements: 2nd-4th: I can work within a team, to select 2-4 screen shots of each of our four structures using the Google Earth App. K-1st: I can work within a team to use the Google Earth app to find pictures. Good Afternoon STEM Families, In this rotation, we are working within our partnerships using the Google Earth app. This app allows us to visit each one of our structures weve studied and look to see what pictures other people have posted. Our students then work together to select 2-4 photographs from each structure and take screen shots. We will use these screen shots to help us develop our editing skills in our Camera App; as well as, insert them into our upcoming iMovies! Kindergartners and first graders are beginning with manipulating the Google Earth app; practicing zooming in, zooming out, spinning, and rotating the Earth. They are also looking for pictures. Kindergartners are being read another Interactive non-fiction book regarding their 5 senses. Today we read taste and watched video clips on where taste buds are located on our tongue. First graders are being read another Interactive non-fiction book regarding sorting by properties. Today we read Big and Small, and watching video clips on the whale shark and the small pony.
