November 18, 2014, 8:00 am - Pahoa and Pu‘u ‘O‘o overflight: Rain prevented us from flying over the Pahoa area, but there were no visible smoke plumes and no rising steam. There was, however, breakouts upslope in the vicinity of the old geothermal pad, below the crack system. These are a few images from our flight.
