November 20, 1969....Conrad & Bean begin their final EVA on the Moon. During the EVA they collect more samples and make their way to Surveyor 3 to bring pieces of the unmanned lander for study back on Earth. The crew planned to take a picture together, but Bean is unable to find the small hidden camera timer that was stowed in one of the sample bags. After successfully ending the last EVA they prepare the LM to rendezvous with Dick Gordon orbiting above in the CM. The LM lifts off from the Moon and rendezvous with the CM without issue. After transferring their collections to the CM, the LM ascent stage is jettisoned and crashes on the lunar surface with Apollo 12s seismic experiments left on the Moon recording the first artificial moon quake. The experiments record vibrations for over an hour.
