What is the assurance that a christian will go to heaven? ~1st step is to be born again, salvation is not enough but after you receive it you ought to walk and contain His Word and walk in continually in the light of this Word. The christian life should continue all the way to the end. ♥1Thesaalonian 4:13 2. Why do we close our eyes when we pray? ~When we pray, we need connection to God. Usually when our eyes are open, we can easily be distracted by what we see around. Its not compulsory to close your eyes when praying but just symbolic for reverence as well as a way to shut down and cut off from the world around you and open our spiritual eyes. 3. When a christian receives a word of prophesy, is it the Christians responsibility to lsur it come to pass? ~Prophetic words are of 2 kinds: a) the one that has nothing to do with an individual believing or not. Eg God through prophets prophesy to kings that, that He were going to into the world and came to pass I respective of wether people believe it or not. He spoke of Jesus birth and death, etc b) God can give a prophetic word in your life that needs your cooperation and in this case it is the individuals responsibility to by faith align his / her life into that direction. 4. Act14:8&9. How was he able to perceive that the man had faith while the man didnt even say a word? ~faith is a response of a human spirit to the voice of God, Paul connected to the mans spirit through his spiritual senses. Spiritual senses are even more effective than the physical ones for as long as they are exercised. Spiritually exercised senses can discern spiritual affairs for as long as they are trained. ♥Hebrews5:14 5. Can a baby born outside wedlock be dedicated? ~Yes, its a babys right to be dedicated irregardless of the parents marital status. All souls belongs to God 6. Does the fruits of the Spirit automatically manifest in our lives? ~As soon as you are born again, they are part of the package. ♥Galatians5:22 ~A day year old baby is as human as a 40 year old man therefore newly born again christian has all those fruits in their spirits just as a spiritual matured will have them but these fruits will be manifested at different degrees depending on your spiritual maturity. Word Segment: ♥Luke22:40-44 ~The Word agony in the 4th verse primarily means struggling for victory, battling against something which forced Him to pray more earnestly, He agonised for victory through His victory. ♥Mathew 26:41 ~The flesh might be weak when your spirit calls for something else, it might be weak when you are supposed to pray, it might call ...Continuation. For food when you are supposed to fast, it might want to give in to temptation while you are supposed to overcome them. ~The only way to overcome fleshly desires is to walk in the spirit through prayers. *This month STRENGTHENING 1. Strength for the journey: There is a long journey for your life and you need strength. ♥1King19:7-8 The spirit of God will minister strength in a very special way, God is leading you in a way that you have strength for the journey ahead. 2. Strength for battles: There will be battles ahead of you, but you will be equipped with strength to fight these battles. ♥2 Samuel 22:40-41 ~This kind of strength wont come from your kitchen, nor from exercising but through prayers...it is spiritual. ~You need strength for the battle. 3. Strength for Times: You need strength for the times, we are in special times according to Gods calender. ♥Daniel 10:14-19 What cause the strength to dissipate? The bible says, in the last days perilous times shall come and these are perilous times. You need strength for this time, this is the time to be grounded by the Word. The following is what we will be doing in this month of strengthening: ~Every Friday of this month of November, we will be fasting & praying all over the ministry. ~Every Friday of this month, we will goto church for prayer & fasting. Arrange a special Friday service for a duration of 2 hours. A guideline will be sent out that will be followed. ~The fasting breaks after each service. God bless u.
