November 24, 2004 was a very memorable day. I had 1 month left of my first pregnancy but Shayna had plans of her own. Although we are usually waiting for her, Shayna was ready early ( for the first and last time), I called out of work and spent the day wondering what the rest of my life would be like. At 6:46pm, I was given an emergency C-section after arriving at the ER about to give birth. From that moment on, my life has been turned upside down. Anyone who knows Shayna knows that she marches to the beat of her own drum and will only do things HER way. She has brought us so much joy and continues to make our lives brighter each and every day. Happy 10th Birthday Shayna Alexis! We love you to the moon and back!
